Aryaman Aggarwal

Analyst

Aryaman (Ary) joined IDR as an Analyst after graduating from Case Western Reserve University with dual master’s degree, MBA and Masters of Finance with a specialization in Corporate Financial Analytics. During his masters, he did 2 summer internships in Credit Risk & Market Risk with KeyBank and Federal Housing Finance Agency. Prior to his masters, Ary has over 4 years of experience in Auditing & Accounting back in India, and he is also a Level 2 Chartered Accountant.

Joe Diliberto

Staff Accountant

Mr. DiLiberto has 3 years of experience in accounting and banking and is currently responsible for accounting and reporting. Mr. DiLiberto holds a B.A. in Accounting and Finance with honors, Summa Cum Laude, from Baldwin Wallace University.

Gary A. Zdolshek

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Zdolshek has more than 45 years of experience as a real estate adviser, investment banker and principal investor. Before founding Investors Diversified Realty, LLC in 2006, he was a principal investor and adviser to several real estate transactions totaling more than $500 million in equity. Mr. Zdolshek received his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Cincinnati.

Garrett Zdolshek

Chief Investment Officer

Mr. Zdolshek has over 20 years of experience in real estate consulting, investment banking and private equity real estate fund investments. Before joining IDR as Portfolio Manager, Mr. Zdolshek served as Managing Director for Courtland Partners, Ltd., one of the largest real estate consulting companies in the United States. Mr. Zdolshek has spoken at a number of real estate seminars and is a member of PREA and former Advisory Board Member of IREI. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University.

David Hofmann

Director – Portfolio Management

Mr. Hofmann’s 14 years of experience help him provide performance measurement reporting, manager due diligence, and research support in addition to serving as IDR’s Chief Information Security Officer. Prior to joining IDR, he founded and served as president of Golden Flash Asset Management, a student managed investment fund at Kent State University. Mr. Hofmann was a Non-Commissioned Officer and a combat veteran who served 10 years in the U.S. Army. He holds a B.B.A in Finance and Accounting with honors, Magna Cum Laude, from Kent State University and is currently a CFA candidate.

John Kirk, CAIA, CCIM

Director – Portfolio Management

John Kirk is a Co-Director of Portfolio Management for IDR. In this capacity, he advises on fund investments, conducts market analysis, and leads the client engagement process. Previously, he was a Senior Director for Affinius Capital within the Global Investors Group. He led the firm’s U.S. capital raising and investor relations effort in the West Region. Before this role, John was on the Research team at Affinius, where he was instrumental in structuring investment strategy and positioning the firm as an industry thought leader. Prior to joining Affinius, John worked at USAA as a Senior Real Estate Advisor on the corporate real estate team. He was responsible for lease negotiations, site selection, and program management across a 7 million square foot real estate portfolio. John received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Master of Business Administration in Finance from Chaminade University of Honolulu. In addition to being FINRA licensed (Series 7, 63, and 65), he also earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. Collectively, John has more than 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.

Gio Tramonto

Associate – Portfolio Analytics

Mr. Tramonto is responsible for client servings, data analytics, research and performance measurement. Prior to joining IDR, he interned at Charles Schwab’s equity ratings department, Merrill Lynch’s High Net Worth Wealth Management department, and a Chicago family office focused on private equity real estate. Mr. Tramonto currently tutors underprivileged high school students in mathematics. He holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from The College of Wooster and is currently a CFA candidate.

Trevor Ashmun

Associate – Portfolio Analytics

Mr. Ashmun is responsible for client servicing, data analytics, research, and performance measurement. Prior to joining IDR, he interned at CHA Partners, a private equity real estate firm specializing in medical office development. Mr. Ashmun holds a B.S. in Economics from The University of Maryland at College Park.

Brian Thomas

Head of Analytics

Mr. Thomas has 14 years of experience in the private equity real estate industry. Since joining the firm shortly after its formation, he has led marketing and client service efforts with a focus on business development. His duties involve research, data analytics, and performance measurement. Mr. Thomas also currently sits on the NCREIF Analytics Advisors Task Force and has co-authored articles that appeared in NCREIF research periodicals. In his spare time, he volunteers in a mentoring program that seeks to positively impact undergraduate business students. Mr. Thomas holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.

Angela Cooper

Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Cooper performs finance, accounting, tax, and treasury services, as well as control and oversight functions for IDR. She has 10 years of experience in public accounting at CBIZ MHM, LLC, working with clients of various sizes in a variety of industries. In addition, she also has industry accounting experience working as a Tax and Treasury Accounting Manager. Ms. Cooper holds a Masters of Taxation from the University of Akron, B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Kent State University, and is a CPA.

Chiemelae Ekuibe

Analyst

Chiemelae (Chi) is responsible for data analytics and research. Prior to joining IDR, she served as Sector Lead Analyst for the Golden Flash Asset Management team, a student managed investment fund at Kent State University and was a student representative for the Kent State University Foundation Investment Committee. Ms. Ekuibe is a recent graduate that holds a B.B.A in finance, Cum Laude, from Kent State University.

Rachel McGuire

Senior Accountant

Rachel has over 5 years of experience and previously worked for CBIZ performing comprehensive financial audits, reviews, and compilations on private companies to assure financial statements are fairly presented in alignment with GAAP. In her role at IDR, she assists the firms CFO and Controller with daily accounting, tax and treasury functions. BS, University of Mount Union

Tom Bartos

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Bartos has more than 44 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and compliance. He has served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of IDR Investment Management, LLC since 2017. Prior to that, he was Manager of Internal Audit at the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community in Scottsdale, Arizona, having started there in 2012. Mr. Bartos is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He received his undergraduate degree in Business from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
