John Kirk, CAIA, CCIM
Director – Portfolio Management
John Kirk is a Co-Director of Portfolio Management for IDR. In this capacity, he advises on fund investments, conducts market analysis, and leads the client engagement process. Previously, he was a Senior Director for Affinius Capital within the Global Investors Group. He led the firm’s U.S. capital raising and investor relations effort in the West Region. Before this role, John was on the Research team at Affinius, where he was instrumental in structuring investment strategy and positioning the firm as an industry thought leader. Prior to joining Affinius, John worked at USAA as a Senior Real Estate Advisor on the corporate real estate team. He was responsible for lease negotiations, site selection, and program management across a 7 million square foot real estate portfolio. John received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Master of Business Administration in Finance from Chaminade University of Honolulu. In addition to being FINRA licensed (Series 7, 63, and 65), he also earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. Collectively, John has more than 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.
